Our story begins with a student – one that fell through the cracks of our university’s student support services. We watched as our peer and friend struggled, failed and eventually dropped out. We created Vygo so that no student would ever be left behind again. Our conviction is that every human deserves a world class education and that this wont be possible until every student has access to world class support.
We've been fortunate enough to have had access to amazing tutoring, mentorship and coaching throughout our lives and also to have played these roles to others. We could see that higher education institutions across the globe were struggling to provide impactful support at scale. We were confident that impactful, personalised and scalable student support was possible if universities could leverage modern technology to empower their student community. We wanted to create something that students & staff loved and wanted to use. Something as intuitive and innovative as TikTok, Spotify or Airbnb.
Vygo was born.
